In the dunes of Wassenaar a stunning contemporary villa is being build. The existing differences in the height of the dunes are used to alter the views when going back to front. The starting point for the design was to create a zero-energy house. The natural materials have been left in sight. The facade is clad with black wooden parts, which are processed according to an ancient Japanese method. West 8, Adriaan Geuze, will take care of the garden design.
